A concrete wall measuring 9 meters by 6 meters is divided by two floors. It is the remnant of an old construction that was integrated into the new one. It looks like a reminiscence, a foreign body in the new building. Its surface has been textured by rough-cut wood.

I wrote a piece to sing and speak for school. The score of the piece shows letters, lines, points, signs, encodings, and notations in a graphic depiction. I use acronyms and emoticons from sms communication, letters from the Latin alphabet, graphic notations from music, the code of the human genome, and Braille. The score is a configuration of these various elements. The piece need not be performed, but can be. If it remains silent, one sees an enigmatic drawing, a typographic collage, a poetic sound image. A stonemason incises the drawings into the wall.
